Album review
What a fantastic album. Its not very often you get a midwest emo band that has both technically complicated riffs that are catchy as hell while also having great vocal hooks. There are really some exceptional vocal hooks on this album. The songs themselves all go hard, feeling different enough from one another to make them all stand out while also still making the album as a whole feel cohesive. My only complaint is the closer, Motor City, is a definate weak point in comparison to the rest of the album. Its not bad by any means, but when compared to the rest of the track list it definatly drags it down a bit and Does It All Make Sense Now? would be such a great closer I will likely just skip Motor City when I revisit this one. Overall, an amazing collection of crazy riffs, catchy hooks, and memorable tracks I really adore.

Track by track:
A Lot Like Mockingbirds: A fast and energetic intro to this album, while also standing on its own as a great song.
Something About a Bunch of Dead Dreams: Catchy as heck. A great chorus that stays in your head and catchy riffs throughout the whole thing.
Open Fire: Catchy chorus. I especially love the outro vocal delivery, it's so emotional and melodic. Unusual in the genre but it fits perfectly.
Sour Notes: A tad faster than the preious ones, but not in a way that feels that much more intense. Catchy noodles and vocal hooks throughout. The bridge is a hilight for sure, not catchy but memorable and emotional as hell, great cressendo going into the outro.
Cold Embrace: The bidge going into the breakdown on this rules. Such an emotional climax at the end of this song.
Billions Must Smile: Happier sound with the chord progression. There's a sick riff / vocal melody in the outro that harmonizes and kicks ass
Microscopic Scenes: Intro riff goes crazy, starting out with a crazy twinkle and going into a energetic main riff. The chorus is also great, an awesome vocal cook and lead riff in tandem that stays in your head. The outro is also awesome, feels grand and anthemic.
Wonderhoy!: Starts off with a lower-fi overdrive guitar and vocals before easing into a full arrangement, and jams the whole time. Despite the toned down feeling, still provides some great emo hooks that are also technically impressive
Does It All Make Sense Now?: Acoustic song, a very beautifully arranged. It feels like it would be a much better send off to the album than Motor City.
Motor City: Getting some post-hardcore influences here. Works well as a closer, but not that memorable compared to the rest of the album.
